Incident in Moores Hill leads to three arrests

The Indiana State Police at the Versailles District were busy over the Memorial Day weekend. It started Friday afternoon when troopers responded to a report of an accident near Moores Hill.
During the investigation troopers discovered some old coins and U.S. currency within one of the vehicles and on the person of one of the drivers. After further investigation it was discovered the money was taken in a burglary that had occurred earlier that day on Farmer's Retreat Road in Ripley County.

Arrested was Colton E. Disbro, 19, of Versailles, Harold S. Fraasman, Jr., 20, of Milan, and Bryan L. Myers, 21, of Moores Hill. All three are facing charges of Receiving Stolen Property, a Class D Felony, in Dearborn County and they will likely face burglary charges in Ripley County. The investigation in Dearborn County is being led by Tpr. Brian Potts while the Ripley County Sheriff's Department is leading the burglary investigation on Farmer's Retreat Road.

In addition to the incident in Moores Hill resulting in three arrests, Versailles troopers investigated three crashes over the weekend with no serious injuries or fatalities involved.

Other activity in addition to the crashes and numerous traffic citations issued included seven drug related arrests, five warrants served, seven DUI arrests, six minor consuming/possessing alcohol, one arrested for battery, and one arrested for Possession of a Handgun Without a Permit.
