Shawe Toppers capped by South Ripley Raiders varsity boys' soccer team

Coach Matt Obendorf and his South Ripley Raider boys' varsity soccer team hosted a match with the Madison Shawe Hilltoppers on Wednesday, August 22.
The final score of 1-0 allowed the Raiders to put another win in the record books for the season and established yet one more shutout to their credit.
An obviously strong defense was put up by the Raider team, holding the Hilltoppers scoreless for the entirety of the game. Goal defending responsibilities for the Raiders were shared between team goalies Paul Swango and Kyle Taylor.
Chase Grider scored the Raider point off an assist by Russ Steinhauer. The Raiders will next host the Switzerland County Pacers on Tuesday, August 28 at 4:30.
