Versailles and Osgood American legions to host programs

The Versailles American Legion invites all veterans, legionnaires, auxiliary and S.A.L. members to join them at any or all of the programs as they pay tribute to the men and women who served our country in the United States Armed Forces. These programs will be held on Monday, November 12 as follows:

November 8, 7:00 p.m.:
Veterans Day dinner at the Versailles American Legion Post. Everyone welcome.

November 12:
Beginning at 8:15 a.m. a Veterans breakfast will be provided by the students of South Ripley Jr. Sr. High School; 9:00 a.m. Veterans program will be presented by the students of South Ripley Jr. Sr. High School; 10:00 a.m. Veteran's Day program at South Ripley Elementary School. Congressman Baron Hill will be speaking at the school program; 11:00 a.m. Veterans Memorial Service at the Ripley County Veterans Monument on the courthouse square in Versailles.

The Osgood American Legion will have programs at the Jac-Cen-Del Elementary School at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 12, and at the high school at 10:00 a.m.
