Charles H. Volz
Charles H. Volz, 88, of Sunman, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. He was born on June 14, 1919 in Ripley County, the son of Mame (Nee: Crum) and Alex Volz. He married Rita Enneking on October 6, 1947 at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Terry and wife Paula Volz of Sunman; grandson, Eric Volz of Sunman; and sister Frieda Pleak of Greensburg. In addition to his wife, he is also preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Evelyn Pitts and Viola Damm, and brother Louis Volz.
Mr. Volz served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a life long farmer. He was a member of St. Louis Church, Batesville Eagles Aerie #1130 and the Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 24. Burial was in the St. Louis Church cemetery. Memorials may be given to the St. Louis School or Phi Beta Psi Sorority Cancer Research. Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville was in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn W. Smith
Kathryn W. Smith, 89, of Cross Plains, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at her home. She was born in Aurora on May 16, 1918, the daughter of William F. and Kathryn Edith Smith Meier. She married Gilbert Smith on July 8, 1939 and he preceded her in death on July 15, 1996.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Smith and his wife Dianna of Cross Plains; two daughters, Carolyn Broadus and her husband Mike of Upton, KY and Evelyn Yonts of Whitesburg, KY; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren and one sister, Jeanette Oatman of Hillsboro, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her sisters, Hildegard Herring and Wilma Meyer; and her brother, Fred Meier.
Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Dewberry where she participated in the Ladies Aid Society. She was a homemaker and was employed for 20 years with Reliance Electric in Madison.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 25 and burial was in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s blacktop fund or to the cemetery in care of Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles

James Caudill
James Caudill, 78, of Moores Hill, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2007. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29 from 6-8 with funeral services on Friday, November 30 at 11 a.m., both at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill. Memorials may be given to the Moores Hill Baptist Church.

Roman F. Federle
Roman F. Federle, 94, of St. Peters, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 24 with burial in the St. Nicholas Cemetery in Sunman. Lela Mae "Lee" (Reed) Brindley
Lela Mae "Lee" (Reed) Brindley, 74, of Vevay, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Kings’ Daughter’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on November 13, 1933 in Madison, the daughter of John and Elsie (Lanham) Reed. She married Charles Fred Brindley of Vevay on May 2, 1952 and he survives.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sherry Holwager and her husband Marvin of Vevay; four grandchildren, Ryan Brindley of Vevay, Lee Ann Imel and her husband Jason of Madison, Jenny Brindley of Vevay, and Allison Carrico of Carrollton, KY; and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Jenna.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mike Brindley who passed away on January 6, 1998, and her granddaughter April E. Griffin.
Mrs. Brindley was a 1951 graduate of Central High School. She was well known throughout the area for her knowledge of antiques and as an appraiser. Over the years, she operated several antique booths in Madison, Vevay and at flea markets. Lee was a farmer at heart and enjoyed helping her husband with the duties of the farm. She especially enjoyed the dairy operation of the farm and took pride in her cows. Mrs. Brindley was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing wonderful meals for her family to enjoy. She especially enjoyed the hummingbirds that would visit the gardens around her home.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 25 at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Memorials may be given in memory of Lee to the King’s Daughters’ Hospital Foundation for Home Health or the Caledonia Cemetery, contribution cards are available at the funeral home. James Edward Wagner
James Edward Wagner, 74, of Osgood, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at his residence. He was born on January 21, 1933 in Osgood, the son of Fredrick J. and Dorothea L. Strang Wagner. He married Ruth Mary Martin on May 10, 1961 and she preceded him in death on July 30, 1989.
Survivors include a nephew, Thomas and wife Brenda Wetzler of Osgood; two brothers, Wm. L. Wagner and Charles "Bud" Wagner both of Osgood; two nieces, Toya Neal of Osgood and Krisha Robbins of Milan; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Mr. Wagner was a US Army veteran, a member of the following: Dearborn County 40 & 8, Osgood Development Foundation, Ripley County Community Foundation, Frank Tarter & Herman/Crum Trust Fund and the Ripley County Economic Development. He was also a member of the Moores Hill American Legion Post #209, the Osgood Civic Club and the Osgood United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are being held today, Tuesday, November 27 at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery in Osgood. Memorials may be given to the Osgood Fire Department or Task Unit. Arrangements were made by Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood.

Kelly René Hacker
Kelly René Hacker, 28, of North Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2007. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28 from 4-8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home in Sunman with funeral services on Thursday, November 29 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Crown Hill cemetery in Colorado. Cook Funeral Home in Sunman is in charge of arrangements.

Gary L. Lauber
Gary L. Lauber, 64, of Milan, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2007 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. He was born on March 18, 1943 in Sunman, the son of Elmer and Hazel (Biddle) Lauber. He married Linda Steuer Lauber on June 26, 1965 and she survives.
Other survivors include: daughters, Jo Dee Withers and Jina Berger, both of Milan; one brother, Kenny Lauber of Austin, Texas; one sister, Connie Cottingham of Milan; and grandchildren: Bryant, Brandon, and Britney Withers and Megan Berger.
Mr. Lauber was the former owner/operator of Myers TV & Appliances and Gary’s Service Center. He also owned Lauber’s Water Works and was a part time farmer. He also had worked for Chris Volz Motors in the parts department and Rayner Oil Company in Milan. He was a member of the Milan United Methodist Church, Methodist Men and held many offices in the Milan Lions Club and was president of Board of Directors for Lamplite Villa.
Funeral services are being held today, Tuesday, November 27 at 11 a.m. at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Stormey Scherer-Berry officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Methodist Cemetery south of Sunman. Memorials may be given to the Rescue 30 or Milan Scholarship Fund. Dorothy I. Bustle
Dorothy I. Bustle, 85, of Dabney, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2007, at the Hospice of South Central Indiana at Columbus. She was born near Mt. Vernon in Rockcastle County, KY on October 10, 1922, the daughter of James and Ella Kirby Renner.
Survivors include three sons: Dean Bustle and his wife Betty of Dabney, Jack and Gay Bustle of Holton and Wayne Bustle of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and one brother, Floyd Renner of Mt. Vernon, KY.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn; her sister, Elsie Renner; her parents; and grandchildren, Andrew, Susan, David, Letticia and Ricky Bustle.
Mrs. Bustle was a member of the Delaware Pentecostal Church. She was a homemaker and had retired from US Shoe in 1984.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29 at 11 a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the New Marion Cemetery. Helen Marie Mathis
Helen Marie Mathis, 75, of Osgood, passed away on November 14, 2007 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on May 8, 1932 at Science Hill, KY, the daughter of Wm. Henry and Ella Mae Wesley Robinson, both deceased. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Arvile Chriswell, Clarence Murray and Philip Mathis.
Survivors include one son, Rickie Murray of Greensburg; two daughters, Sheila Tunny of Greensburg and Vickie Murray of Lakeland, FL; brothers, Ray Robinson of Olympia, WA and Richard Robinson of Anderson; sisters, June Blevins of Greensburg and Jewell Culp of Foley, AL; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Bradley; two brothers, Howard and Donnie Robinson; and one grandson, Skipper Shadday.
Mrs. Mathis worked for 19 years as an attendant for Muscatatuck State Hospital of Madison and a past employee of Res Care of Osgood. She owned and operated Murray’s Grocery of New Marion.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at Neal’s Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Greendale Cemetery of Osgood. Memorials may be given to the Osgood Area Kiwanis. Neal’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Florence Marie Heitzman
Florence Marie Heitzman, 68, of Versailles, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. She was born on April 21, 1939, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Stautberg) Scheuermann. She married Raymond H. Heitzman on October 25, 1975 and he survives.
Other survivors include one son: Michael K. Pease of Vevay; sisters: Margaret Peggie Wilson and Jullie Salamone, both of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; and eight great grand children. She was preceded in death by a brother: Arthur Scheuerman.
Mrs. Heitzman was a graduate licensed practical nurse and a member of the Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Milan with Father Elmer Burwinkle officiating and visitation being on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will be in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

Judith Ann (Judy) Martin
Judith Ann (Judy) Martin, 65, of Sunman, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 10 a.m. at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill with burial following. Memorials may be given to the family. Glenn D. Marksberry
Glenn D. Marksberry, 72, of Aurora, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007 suddenly at his home. He was born on June 4, 1935 in Aurora, the son of Fredrick and Grace Lientz Marksberry. He married Donna Owens on Jan. 17, 1965 and she survives.
Other survivors include two children: David (Denise) Marksberry of Richmond, VA and Amy Marksberry of Aurora; one brother, Don Marksberry; and three grandchildren, Anthony & Kristian Spencer, and Rhys Marksberry. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Marksberry served his country in the US Army from 1957-59. He was well known as the pilot on the Aurora Ferry for many years. Following his retirements, he worked with his friend, Joe Tandy, at Valley Enterprises, selling groceries to towboats, and doing general maintenance work. He absolutely loved his grandchildren, and doing anything outdoors.
Mr. Marksberry and his wife were active members of Community United Methodist Church in Aurora.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church in Aurora, with Pastor Duane Loos officiating. Memorials may be given to the Aurora Life Squad. Arrangements by Filter-DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro.

Maxine Bliton Wilson
Maxine Bliton Wilson, 84, of Osgood, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born on November 29, 1922, the daughter of Wesley and Margaret Davis Bliton. She married John C. Wilson on June 2, 1969 and he survives.
Other survivors include two sons: David K. Buress of New Marion and James L. Buress of Osgood; two daughters: Nancy D. Ritchie of Osgood and Marilyn S. Biddinger of Greensburg; one sister, Georgia Brown of Cross Plains; 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Don K. Buress; three brothers, Dude, Bill and Bob Bilton; sisters: Lelia Shepard, Jeannette Demaree and Naomi Poling.
Mrs. Wilson worked at US Shoe Factory for 26 years.
Private family services will be held. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Research Center in care of the funeral home. Burial will be at Greendale Cemetery in Osgood. Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood is in charge of arrangements.

Charles Stephen "Steve" Gibbs
Funeral services for Versailles businessman Charles Stephen “Steve” Gibbs, are set for Saturday, November 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Olean with Pastor Dennis Zimmerman and Father Ray Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 23 from 4-8 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
The 58-year-old Holton resident passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 at his home. He was born at home on a farm in Wayne County, Illinois, on November 28, 1948, the son of Waldon and Patricia Murphy Gibbs. He was married to Dianne Lauersdorf on December 3, 1994 and she survives.
Other survivors include his father, Waldon Gibbs of Rockford, Illinois; a daughter Stepanie West and husband, Matt of Versailles; grandchildren Braden and Darren Gibbs, Breanna, Gracey, and Matthew West; a brother, Lee Gibbs and wife Mary of Milledgeville, Illinois; four sisters: Waldena Stewart of Rockford, Illinois, Bonnie Beyer and husband David of St. Ansgar, Iowa, Lynda Charleston and Don of Altoona, Iowa, and Janice Cawthorne of California, a step brother Father Ray Schultz of Fairview Heights, Illinois; a step sister Marilyn Klingemann and husband, Don of Murphysboro, Illinois; a niece, Julie Vorachek of Lees Summit, Missouri, nephews Cliff and John Hall of Independence, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his mother, and step mother, Seva Gibbs.
Mr. Gibbs was a former nuclear engineer with Commonwealth Edison in Rockford, Illinois. In 1992, he founded the C.S. Gibbs Corporation, which was the parent company of Sure-Loc Archery products. In 2000, he moved his company from South Beloit, Illinois to Versailles. Since 1996 Sure-Loc archery sights have been the choice of Olympic champions and other archers worldwide. Mr. Gibbs was an eight time National Field Archery Association Champion and a former JBO World Champion. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Olean, Versailles Lions Club, NFAA, IBO, Archery Trade Association, and the Archery Shooters Association.

Charles E. Thompson
Charles E. Thompson, 80, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on March 7, 1927 in Ripley County, the son of Elmer and Goldie Quire Thompson. He married Erma N. Massey on May 4, 1945 and she survives.
Other survivors include three sons: Terry, Eric and Tracy Thompson all of North Vernon; eight grandchildren, Jonathon, Emily, Zachary, Joseph, Caitlin, Benjamin, Jacquelyn and Matthew Thompson; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Bodhi Thompson; three step grandchildren, Patrick, Peter and Philip Marsh; and seven step-great grandchildren: Danielle, Jacqueline, Ali, Tucker, Garrett, Sadie and Levi Marsh. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother George Thompson and a sister, Pearl Cox.
Mr. Thompson had served in the United States Army as a Supply Sergeant. He also owned and operated Thompson Motors since 1946. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Scottish Rite, Rolling Hills Shrine Club, Holton Masonic Lodge, and the American Legion in Milan. He was also a member of the Muscatatuck Country Club where he was a founding member, Seymour Elks Club, and St. Anne’s Golf Club, where he was an avid golfer.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 9 with burial in the Vernon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Jennings County YMCA or the Jennings Villa through the funeral home. Sidney C. Finnell Rohlfing
Sidney C. Finnell Rohlf-ing, 75, of Napoleon, passed away on Thursday, Novem-ber 8, 2007 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born on October 10, 1932 at Covington, KY, the daughter of Benjamin H. and Cecelia Angelina Ross Finnell, both deceased. She married Howard H. Rohlfing on May 12, 1951 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Osgood and he survives.
Other survivors include two sons: Nicholas A. and wife Karen Rohlfing of Na-poleon, and Tracy K. and wife Beth Rohlfing of Bates-ville; one daughter, Barbara J. Tackett of Bedford; two sisters, Lois Dean of Napo-leon and Sharon Woolf of Clarkston, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, George H. Rohlfing.
Mrs. Rohlfing graduated from Napoleon High School and had worked for Napoleon Lumber Company and Vines Egg Company in Osgood as a bookkeeper. She also worked for Empire Gas of Osgood and was a member of Napoleon United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 11 at Neal’s Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in care of the funeral home. Burial was in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Napo-leon. Arrangements were made by Neal’s Funeral Home.

Florence Marie Heitzman

Melvin Frazier
Melvin Frazier, age 60, of Hammond, LA, formerly of Aurora, died Wednesday, Nov 7, 2007 at Hospice House in Hammond. He was born in Milan, on June 16, 1947 the son of Charles Frazier and Carrie Lozier Frazier. In 1985 he married his wife, Sylvia, and she passed away in 2006.
Surviving is his daughter, Melissa Pryor, of Martinsville, IN; his sister, Shirley Turville, of Trinity, Texas; 1 stepson, Larry Holbrook; 2 stepdaughters, Diane and Debbie Holbrook; a nephew, Darrel Powers, and a niece, Peggy Garwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sylvia, and one brother.
Mr. Frazier served his country in the US Marines from 1966 to 1971, receiving several combat medals. He was employed as an electrician at REMC for several years. He was a member of the VFW in Hammond, LA.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Nov 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, with military rites by the VFW in Aurora. Arrangements were made by Filter-DeVries Funeral Home, Dillsboro.

Pauline Cole
Pauline Cole, 75, of Holton, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at her residence. She was born at Mintonville, KY, on August 21, 1932, the daughter of John and Gertie Ashley Baugh. She married Edwin Cole and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1974.
Survivors include her sister, Bonnie Larabee of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers: Fred, Cecil, Roy and Edgar Baugh.
Mrs. Cole was employed by Keeblers in Cincinnati for 32 years.
Funeral services are being held today, Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. David Shivers of the Hopewell Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Visitation is also being held on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until times of services. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.

Norman G. Young
Norman G. Young, 74, of Osgood, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born near Napoleon on May 24, 1933, the son of George and Pearl Drescher Young. He was married to Marita Brancamp on June 20, 1959 and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Robin Renee Miller and her husband Kevin of Greensburg; one grandson, Blake Norman Miller; three brothers, Sylvester Young and Lester Young both of Napoleon and Delbert Young of New Mexico; one sister, Ida Grow of Napoleon. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Alvin, Earl, Roy, Harry and Walter Young; and his sisters Sadie Schmidt, Esther Barnard, and Alice Bultman.
Mr. Young was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he served in the 53rd Infantry. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and was qualified as a sharpshooter. He was a farmer and was employed with Comer Buildings. Mr. Young had formerly served as a Pee Wee baseball coach at Jac-Cen-Del, was a former member of the Ripley County Fair board; and was currently superintendent of the swine barn at the Ripley County Fairgrounds.
Funeral services are being held today, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Napoleon with Pastor Gary Groth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Osgood American Legion. Memorials may be given to a scholarship in Mr. Young’s name in care of the funeral home. Stratton-Karsteter funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Alvin A. Heller
Alvin A. Heller, age 88, Milan, died Saturday morn-ing, Nov. 10, 2007 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
He was a well-known per-son in the state of Indiana. In the early 40’s he served in the United States Navy. Alvin played baseball for the Great Lakes Navel Baseball Team as a catcher who caught Bob Feller. He also spent most of his life serving the American Legion and 40 & 8 in many capacities. He was an Eagle, Shriner, and Kentucky Colonel. Along with his wife Ruth, he owned the Milan Lakeside Country Club for 28 years.
Alvin was a very caring and giving person to many people, services and socie-ties.
Strongly remembered by son: Tim (Judy) Heller, Paducah, Ky.; daughters: Sharon (Jim) Boyd, Indian-apolis, and Sally (Phil) McKittrick, Milan; sister: Irma Stacey, Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Chester S. Henderson
Chester S. Henderson, 87, of Versailles, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Kings’ Daughter’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on July 13, 1920, the son of Scott and Goldia Smith Henderson. Mr. Henderson was born on the farm that had been in his family since 1833 and spent his entire life there. He was married to Genelle Stevens on April 12, 1942 and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters: Rosalie Hooton and her husband Rev. Rand Hooton of Burney, and Shirley Pavey and her husband Tom of Versailles; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Geneva Henderson, and his granddaughter Nadine Wiley.
Mr. Henderson was a 1938 graduate of Versailles High School. He was a member of the Versailles Baptist Church, Versailles Lions Club, and the Ripley County Historical Society.
Mr. Henderson was a former youth leader at the Washington Baptist Church in Elrod. He also served as an ambassador with "People to People" which included farm tours in New Zealand, Australia and England. He was named Ripley County SWCD Master Farmer of the year in 1996.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 12, at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Harold Carter officiating. Burial was in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Southeastern Indiana Baptist Youth Camp or Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home.

Kathryn Johnson
Kathryn L. Johnson, 81, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Waters of Dillsboro. She was born in Constance, KY on Sept. 12, 1926, the daughter of Earl Souther and Mae Dolwick Souther. She was married to James Johnson Jr. on March 8, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Surviving are three sons, James Johnson, of Manchester; Leslie Johnson, of Wilmington; and Terry (Tricia) Johnson, of Aurora; her two daughters, Mary Johnson, of Aurora; and Evelyn Stevenson, of Aurora; and her daughter-in-law, Debbie Johnson, of Aurora; one brother, Earl Everett Souther; and one son Grace Cooper. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Larry Dale Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson and her husband were farmers in the Aurora area for many years. They were active, faithful members of the Alliance Church in Aurora their entire life.
Kathryn was a wonderful mother and farm wife. She enjoyed the cattle very much, and her life was her children and grandchildren. She loved music and being involved in the life of her church.
Funeral services are being held today, Tuesday, Nov 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Aurora Alliance Church, with Pastor Dean Greenwood officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill.
