Lady Eagles to play Lady Bulldogs in girls varsity RCT championship game

Seasonably fitting weather led into the RCT action as snow and gusty winds brought in the new year just in time for the annual tourney. This years varsity tournament has a split venue with the girls varsity portion being played at Milan High School and the boys' games remaining at Batesville HS.
Girls games are to continue on Friday night at 6:00 p.m., with a consolation contest between Milan and South Ripley, followed by the girls RCT championship between Batesville and Jac-Cen-Del shortly after the conclusion of the consolation game.
First round games were decided by scores of Batesville 58-41 over Milan and Jac-Cen-Del 51-28 over South Ripley.
Milan Lady Indians scorers were; Kelly Stutler 13, Kady Alloway 10, Jessica Wessler 9, Becca Haugh 7 and Kaity Barton 2.
Batesville Lady Bulldog scorers were; Ashley Wuestefeld 18, Samantha Nobbe 13, Amy Wuestefeld 12, Madison Lamppert 5, Jane Turchyn 4, Amanda Nobbe and Julie Meyer each had 3 apiece.
Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagle scorers were; Kiersten Young 15, Kristen Hicks 9, Valorie Wagner 7, Kaylin Ploeger and Carissa Simon 6 each and Becca Wagner and Janine Huff had 4 each.
South Ripley Lady Raider scorers were; Erica Ester 7, Kellie Collier 6, Sarah Webster 4, Jordan Vinup 3 and 2 points each by Alex Snyder, Sealey Snyder, Susannah Mann and Rachel Mathes.
