Eagles continue to wreak havoc on competitors

Gary Franklin, Sports Writer

JCD's basketball season opened with a sonic boom, when they exploded for a 40 point win over the SR Raiders. They then found a reality check with a 10 point loss to Batesville's Bulldogs in the Dogs' season opener. Since that time, the Eagles have rained terror on all competitors faced, including their most recent games against the Southwestern Hanover Rebels and the Rising Sun Shiners.

The next test for the high soaring Eagles will be at Batesville High School during Ripley County Tourney competition. They will face the South Ripley Raiders for the second time this season. The winner of that game will move on to play for the championship against the winner of the Milan Indians vs the Batesville Bulldogs.
