Rhonda Sue Clift
Rhonda Sue Clift, 43, of Dillsboro, passed away Tuesday, March
24, 2009, unexpectedly at Dearborn County Hospital. She was
born May 23, 1965 in Dearborn County to Rondald Ritter and Bonnie
Stopher Ritter. She married Carl "Chris" Clift on
February 16, 1982 and he survives.
Other survivors include two children: Christopher Raymond Clift
of Dillsboro and Renda Clift (Noah Stamper) of Dillsboro; four
grandchildren: Kalyb, Karygan, Makiah and Aiden; two sisters:
Anya Ritter and Carly and her parents: Rondald and Bonnie Ritter.
Mrs. Clift enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren drawing
and taking walks in the woods. She attended Grace Baptist Church
in Milan.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at
Grace Baptist Church in Milan with Pastor Charles Miller officiating.
Visitation with the family will also be Saturday from 11 a.m.
until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given
to the family. Filter-DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro is in
charge of arrangements.
Helen V. Rollins
Helen V. Rollins, 92, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Sunday,
March 22, 2009. Funeral services are being held today, Thursday
at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Greenhills. Burial
will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill. Arrangements
are being handled by Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill.
Alice Fay Mickens Mills
Alice Fay Mickens Mills, 81, of Osgood, passed away Monday,
March 23, 2009 at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She
was born July 29, 1927 in Jennings County, the daughter of Glen
C. and Ethel B. Goodpaster Owens.
Survivors include son, Patrick Alan Tucker of Mesa, AZ; daughter,
Lona Gail Case of Osgood; brothers, Charles, Joe, John and Jim
Owens all of Osgood, and Gene Owens of Bedford, Ky.; sisters,
Lou Trueblood of Salem, Ky., and Georgia Adkinson of Elrod;
three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Mickens one son,
Bruce Wayne Tucker; four brothers, Dennis, Russell, Harold Edward
and Rowley Dale Owens; one grandchild, Scott A. Tucker; and
one great grandchild, Keith Alan Sizemore.
Mrs. Mills was a past member of the Osgood American Legion Ladies
Auxiliary.
Visitation is being held today, Thursday, at Neals Funeral
Home in Osgood from 9-11 a.m., with funeral services immediately
following. Burial will be in Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles.
Memorials may be given to the familys choice. Neals

William Thomas "Tom" Hart, 94, of Lawrenceburg, passed
away Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Visitation will be held 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the St. John Lutheran Church
Bellaire in Lawrenceburg with funeral services immediately following.
Pastor Marlyn Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in the
St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Lawrenceburg. Memorials may be

Willard S. Jackson
Willard
S. Jackson, 85, of Versailles, passed away Saturday, February
28, 2009 at Manderley Health Center in Osgood. He was born on
November 14, 1923 in Versailles, Indiana, and was the son of
Marshall and Stella (Fox) Jackson. Willard was married to Vivian
(Rendleman) Guthrie on April 20, 1946. After 59 years of marriage
she preceded him in death in April of 2005.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcia (Randy) McKenney of Shelbyville,
Indiana; two sons: Robert L. (Peggy) Guthrie of Arlington, Tennessee
and Danny (Susan) Jackson of Versailles; ten grandchildren,
17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; three
brothers: Kenneth, Hubert (Eva), and Marion (Joleh) Jackson.
Willard was preceded in death by his dear daughter Pamela and
three sisters: Ruth Carter, Neva Rea, and Margaret Probst.
Willard Jackson was a lifelong Ripley County citizen and his
Versailles area ancestry dates to the early 1800s. He
was a 1941 graduate of Versailles High School and a WWII Veteran.
In February of 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was shipped
to the Naval Training Station Great Lakes, Illinois for boot
camp. During his tenure in the United States Navy he served
on the USS California, was a student at Wabash College under
the accelerated Navy V-12 program to develop commissioned officers,
was stationed in Philadelphia, Norfolk, Bremerton, and in the
Philippine Islands during the islands liberation from
the Japanese. Willard was awarded: The Victory Medal, American
Area Medal, Philippines Liberation Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal,
and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged from
the Navy on May 9, 1946.
Willard was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church for over 70
years and served in various capacities including that of church
deacon. He was a farmer, construction homebuilder with Williams
Home Building of Madison, and department of natural resources
employee.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Tanglewood
Church Cemetery on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 5 p.m., the 63rd
anniversary of Vivian and Willards wedding day.
Memorials may be made to Tanglewood Baptist Cemetery.

Calvin Lee Green, 50, of Osgood, passed away, Sunday, March
1, 2009. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 6, at

Lois J. Keller Ralston, 74, of Madison, passed away Monday,
March 2, 2009. Funeral services are being held today, Thursday,
at Calvary Baptist Church, Madison, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will
follow in the Hebron Cemetery near Madison. Visitation will
be from 11:00 a .m. until time of the service at the church

Frances Ann (BeDunnah) Norris
Frances Ann (BeDunnah) Norris, 91, of Ford City, PA, formerly
of Moores Hill, passed away, Friday, February 27, 2009. Graveside
services will be held Friday, March 6 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill
Cemetery at Moores Hill. Memorials may be given to the American
Cancer Society or Orphans of the Storm. Sibbett-Moore Funeral
