'09 Madison Regatta winner Dave Villwock accepts "The Governor's Cup" from
Ind. Lt. Governor Becky Skillman

The race held on Sunday, July 5, on the Ohio River was the 59th Governor's Cup running and drivers found the river smooth for the big race.
Villwock resides in Seattle Washington, and as a career raceboat driver attests to 57 Unlimited victories (including this running for the Governor's Cup) under his belt. He is currently the winningest active driver and with the victory holds eight Indiana Governor's Cup Championships over the 59 years of its history.
How they finisherd:
1st U-16 Miss E-lam Plus with an average speed of 138.054 mph.
2nd U-7 Miss Graham Trucking @ 136.515 mph.
3rd U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto/Miss Madison @ 130.713 mph.
4th U-5 Formulaboats. Com @ 121.486 mph.
5th U-16 Leland Unlimited with an average speed of 118.434 mph.
The U-3 Miss Chrysler Jeep - did not finish.

'09 South Ripley Raider Boys Golf
Awards Banquet is held

The '09 SR Raider Boys Golf Team gathered at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Olean on Wednesday, June 24, for their awards banquet.
Coach Greg Huntington reported that the team had enjoyed 27 wins this past season including three tournament championships.
The team captured championship titles in the South Ripley Invitational, the Milan Invitational and the Rising Sun Invitational.
