The Grand Champion steer was purchased
by area businesses: Neal's Funeral Home, RJE Fertilizer,
Wayne's Meats, Jeff Sharp Attorney At Law, and Southeastern

Chris Schmaltz, REMC board member, and the owner of the
Grand and Home Grown Champion beef steer, Tyler Wilburn,
with a little help from his brother, Zack Wilburn, holding
the banner. The steer brought $2,000 at the 4-H auction
held Friday, July 24 at the fairgrounds park.
