Taste of Home Cooking School coming to Versailles

Wanda English Burnett, Editor

Fall is a busy time when school gets underway, festivals are planned and thoughts turn to the holidays. This year there is one additional fun thing to put on your calendar - a Taste of Home Cooking School on November 19 sponsored by the Ripley Publishing Co.

Where can you learn a new chocolate recipe, tempt your taste buds, and experience cooking in an entirely new way? At a Taste of Home Made Easy Cooking School show, of course! Each event is a culinary encounter like no other as those who have experienced the shows can attest to.

The Taste of Home Made Easy Cooking School events are engaging, informative, and fun. A professionally trained Culinary Specialist will demonstrate a variety of recipes, tips, and techniques.
This season, “Festive in a Flash” will be presented, featuring mouthwatering dishes such as “smoked sausage spinach salad” and Italian mini-frittatas”.

While learning how to make new dishes, every attendee will receive a free gift bag filled with free products, coupons, and a magazine.

At the event, set to be held at the South Ripley Elementary School, there will be numerous booths giving away you the opportunity to do a little holiday shopping. There will be quality door prizes and samples you just won’t want to miss.

Watch the Osgood Journal and The Versailles Republican for information on when tickets will go on sale in October and save the date for the cooking event.

As the world’s largest cooking magazine, Taste of Home understands that every individual is looking for something different when it comes to cooking. Whether you are just getting started with cooking or you are looking to refine your cooking skills and expand your recipe collection, Taste of Home Made Easy Cooking School events have something for everyone.
