On Saturday, September 19 about 5:15 p.m. the front window of the Triplett’s Drug Store in Osgood was broken out in an attempted break-in.

According to information from Osgood Marshal John Hegge, the intruder was scared off by the alarm that sounded and nothing was taken from the store on Buckeye Street.

Through an investigation and an eyewitness to the crime, police were able to locate and ultimately identify Joseph Brewington, 48 of Milan/Versailles Pike, as the intruder. He was arrested without incident at his home on September 22 and has been charged with Burglary of a Structure, a Class C Felony.
