At the regular meeting of the Napoleon Town Council held Wednesday, June 9 the dilemma of Kroger fliers in resident’s yards was discussed.

It was noted that these fliers have been strewn on lawns and people are not happy about it. The council will look into the situation with Attorney Larry Eaton saying throwing the fliers out was littering.

The proposed burn ordinance was also discussed at the meeting with Eaton given the go ahead to draw up a burn ordinance. It will be presented at the July 14 meeting.

Council members signed resolutions for the purchase of supplies for the VFW building, Living History Days and Steve Wagner to do work on the community building and VFW.
Town employee Rod Eaton was given the nod to bushhog different areas where needed and spray for weed control.
