  Individuals
and dealers alike are welcome to set up for anything that has
to do with the outdoors, noted Wayne Wall, who is organizing
an ATV swap meet at the Ripley County Fairgrounds Park in Osgood
                this weekend.
The event should bring in a variety of people who want to buy
or sell items that pertain to outdoor entertainment. Anyone looking
for anything to do with ATVs, dirt bikes, even lawn mowers, could
find what theyre looking for at the event which will be
held Saturday and Sunday, September 18, and 19.

Its still not too late to set up a booth if youre
interested in selling items. The cost is only $20 and all proceeds
from the entire weekend event will benefit local children in the
area who love to play ball.

Wall told the Osgood Journal that all the proceeds will
go to the Indiana Express Youth Baseball League, which has Ripley
                County children playing in it.

On Saturday at 12:30 there will be an ATV sled pull with ATV flag
                drags at 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday, there will be an ATV poker run which is set to begin
at 1:00 p.m. This run will be approximately 60 miles long and
is sponsored by Thorntons Motorcycles of Versailles. This
unique run draws a crowd with Wall expecting about 200 machines
for this ride. They will take back roads through the county experiencing
the fall weather at a slow pace.

Camping spaces are available at the fairgrounds park with electric
and water. You can contact Wall for a spot by calling 689-5139
                after 6 p.m.

Wall has been hosting these events on his property, but said this
year he wanted to expand it and open it up so many others could
participate. He described it as a fun family event,
that everyone is welcome to come to.
