As shown in the above photo, there are still
plenty of items left from the Fourth Annual Free Yard Sale
event held Saturday, December 4 at the CI Family Worship
Center near Versailles. The area received anywhere from
1-3 inches of snow on Saturday, which could have played
a factor in people getting to the event where donated items
such as household goods, clothing, and toys were plentiful.
"We do it to bless the community," noted Pastor
Tim Barrett. "God has given the church so much, and
we want to share it with others especially in these tough
economic times," he continued. While there weren't
as many shoppers on Saturday as there have been in years
past, there is still time for people to take advantage of
this opportunity to get needed items, and perhaps a Christmas
gift or two. The sale will be held again this weekend on
Saturday, December 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CI Family
Worship Center on Cave Hill Road in Versailles. Call 812-689-5503

entrance of the Versailles State Park, just off US 50.
