Jac-Cen-Del senior Lady Eagle guard Becca Wagner signed a Letter of Intent to continue her stellar basketball career with Marian Unversity in a signing ceremony held at the Jac-Cen-Del High School Library on Monday afternoon, March 28.
Following her signing, Wagner officially became a Marian Lady Knight.
Marian has just finished a historic run in their program, finishing with a school best season record of 23-8, and a trip to the NAIA "Sweet 16" in Iowa. Wagner, a McDonald's All-American nominee and multiple record holder at JCD looks to help continue that recent success.
Wagner finished her career at JCD as the only player in Eagle history to record 1000 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals. She led thje Lady Eagles to the IHSAA Class 1A Final Four this past season.
Among her many accomplishments, Wagner earned the 2011 Ripley Publishing Co. Inc. Girls Basketball Excellence Award.
Congratulations and best wishes to Wagner, her parents and her new team.
