According to information from Officer Phillip T. Wilson of the Milan Police Department, a 14-year-old was flown to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati after being involved in an accident.

Milan police are investigating the accident that occurred on Main Street in Milan on Friday, August 5 about 9:54 p.m. involving a vehicle and the teenager riding a bicycle.

At this time there are no charges being pursued against the driver of the vehicle and the case is still under investigation.

The Milan police were assisted at the scene by the Ripley County Sheriff's Office, Milan Rescue 30 and Milan Fire Department.
