Fernbach Jr., 33, of Batesville, was sentenced to
60 years in prison for two counts of Attempted Murder.

It only took seconds for Judge Carl Taul to say
those words, but the decision was not made on a
whim. Ive thought about this case a
lot, Judge Taul began after both the defense
and prosecution presented their sides at the sentencing

being bullied at school or on the ride home seems
to be a common occurrence when you turn on the evening
news. Knowing these acts are prevalent wherever
there are students, South Ripley administration,
teachers, and staff have taken a proactive stance
                              against it.

The Ripley County Commissioners welcomed new county
attorney John Ertel at the regular meeting on Monday,
February 7. We look forward to working with
you, said commissioner president Rob Reiners.

The commissioners considered proposed site layouts
for the annex building presented by the architectural
firm Lawrence, Williams, Clinton (LWC). According
to project manager Gary Turner, construction could
begin as early as August 2011.
